Lionel Messi’s arrival in the Major Soccer league(MLS) has been a new impact on American football. A ‘tsunami’ is there in the Major Soccer League because of Argentine star Lionel Messi. This statement is from Inter Miami’s executive president, Javier Asenci.
Asensi claimed that there is a “tsunami” of demand after Messi’s arrival. According to him, there are no Lionel Messi products left in the club store . During a conversation, Asensi said that they had not thought that the arrival of Messi would bring such a tsunami. According to him, the club will receive the bulk of products in October for 2024 and that will address the high demand for football kits.
“There has been a tsunami, but the tsunami has been Inter Miami, which has swept the MLS. I spent 11 years at Barca, and everything was planned a year and a half before. Here, of course, ‘the bull’ has caught us. It was difficult to foresee this ‘Messi mania’. In October, we will receive a large amount of product, and, for 2024, we have already made good forecasts worldwide.”, Asensi said to MARCA.
Sales of jerseys and kits have skyrocketed since Messi arrived in America. Jerseys with Messi’s name are in demand not only in Miami but in stores all over America. Keeping that in mind Adidas is producing a large number of football kits.
