Agency – The former coach of the Netherlands, Louis van Gaal, has accused the World Cup held in Qatar of rigging. During a conversation with a media, Louis van Gaal accused 2022 World Cup was rigged.

In an interview with Dutch media NOS, Van Gaal claimed that Lionel Messi and Argentina’s World Cup champions were premeditated. He also raised questions about the decisions taken by the referees in the match between Argentina and the Netherlands.

“I don’t really want to say much about it. When you see how Argentina gets the goals and how we get the goals, and how some Argentina players overstepped the mark and were not punished, then I think it was a premeditated game. When you see how Argentina act and how we act… some Argentinian players went too far and were not punished. That’s why I think everything was premeditated,”, Van Cheek said.

Netherlands and Argentina met in the quarter-finals of the Qatar World Cup. A total of 16 yellow cards and one red card were shown in the tense match. In the first half, Argentina took the lead with Nahuel Molina’s goal, and in the 73rd minute of the game Messi doubled Argentina’s lead with a penalty goal.

But the Netherlands was back to game by scoring two goals at the end of the game. After the extra time, the match was tied 2-2 and the match went to penalties. Argentina won 4-3 on penalties. Louis van Gaal was sacked after the loss to Argentina.
