Agency – Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has urged his fans not to hate Argentine star Lionel Messi. While talking to reporters, Ronaldo requested his fans not to hate Messi.
Ronaldo openly talked about his relationship with Messi and said that people who like him should not hate Messi. Ronaldo says that both he and Messi have changed the history of football and both are respected players.
Mentioning that they have shared the football stage for 15 years, Ronaldo clarified that there is no Rivalry. Ronaldo claims that they respect each other even though they are not best friends.
“If you like Cristiano, you don’t have to hate Messi. The two changed the history of football and are respected. Rivalry? I don’t see those things like that, we shared the stage for 15 years. I’m not saying we are friends but we respect each other,” said Ronaldo.
When both Ronaldo and Messi were in LaLiga, there used to be a rivalry between the two. The two battled each other for various titles as well as individual titles.
When Messi was at Barcelona and Ronaldo was at Real Madrid, there was a fierce rivalry between the two. But now Messi has reached America via Paris Saint Germain (PSG) while Ronaldo has reached Saudi Arabia after leaving Real Madrid and staying at Juventus and Manchester United.
