Agency – Brazilian star Neymar has claimed that the Saudi Pro League can be better than France’s Ligue 1. During a conversation with reporters, Neymar gone to claim that the Saudi Pro League can be better than France’s Ligue 1.
Speaking at a press conference before facing Bolivia in the World Cup qualifiers, Neymar said that gradually more people will follow the Saudi league. Neymar said that even those who ignore now will gradually follow the Saudi league.
Meanwhile Neymar did not miss to say that the Saudi Pro League is a strong league. Neymar claimed that the Saudi league can be better than France’s Ligue 1 based on the big stars brought into the league.
“To those who try to belittle the Saudi League will start to follow it very soon. I tell them that Saudi is a strong league. Look at all the names Saudi has signed. Saudi might be better than Ligue 1.”, Neymar said.
Neymar joined Saudi club Al Hilal from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in this summer transfer window. Neymar is yet to make his debut for his new club. He was not able to make his debut because he arrived with an injury.
Neymar spent six years at the League One club before moving to Al Hilal. Neymar played a total of 112 games for PSG in the French League One. In which he scored 82 goals and gave 50 assists.
