Agency – Manchester City’s Norwegian young star Erling Haaland has spoken about his chance to win Ballon d’or. During an interview, Haaland said that he has a chance to win the Ballon d’Or.
Speaking to France Football about his chances of winning the Ballon d’Or this year, Haaland said he is still very young and still has room to improve.
“I believe in myself, I really do. I know I can still improve a lot, I’m still young. But yes, I think I have a chance this year,” said Holland.
The nominations of 30 players for the 2023 Ballon d’Or have been announced. Although there are better players than the best in the nominations, the competition for the Ballon d’Or award will mainly be between Argentine star Lionel Messi and Haaland.
Holland won the treble with Manchester City. He was instrumental in City winning the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup. He scored a total of 52 goals throughout the season.
